Editor of Urdu daily Shaida passes away in Srinagar

Srinagar: Printer, Publisher and Editor of a local Urdu Daily ” Wadi-ki-Awaz” Ghulam Nabi Shaida died after a prolonged illness in Srinagar.

He was above 70 and is survived by a daughter. His wife had predeceased him in 2015.

According to reports,  Shaida breathed his last at his Srinagar residence in the wee hours today. He had been unwell for the past several years.

He will be laid to rest in the ancestral graveyard at village Goripora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.

His death was widely condoled by media, social and political organizations.
