Earthquake of 5.8 magnitude hits J&K

SRINAGAR: A moderate earthquake was felt across parts of Jammu and Kashmir this evening.

Reports said that tremors, measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale, were felt for several seconds at around 7:58 PM. The epicentre of the earthquake was Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan (70.83°E 36.47°N). There were no immediate reports of any injury or damage to any property received from anywhere so far.
