SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir has terminated an RRT teacher for unauthorised absence from duties, while a Junior Assistant from Baramulla has have been given pre-termination notice by the department.
The department since November last year has suspended 31 teachers from remaining unauthorized absence from duties.
As per the details available with The Dispatch, Abdul Majeed Khan, RRT Teacher-Middle School Shirpora, Baramulla remained un-authorizedly absent from his legitimate duties w.e.f. 03/09/2015. The teacher was provided with one more opportunity to be heard by this office on 06/07/2021 through a joint show cause notice wherein the absconding teacher was directed to present himself before this Directorate along with a statement of defence within 07 days from the date of issuance of notice.
“Now, therefore, pursuant to the decision of the committee, Abdul Majeed Khan, RRT Teacher MS Shirpora, Baramulla is hereby removed from the Government service in terms of Article 128 of J&K Civil Services Rules (Volume I) of 1956 and rule 30(vii) of J&KCCA rules 1956”, the order issued by DSEK reads.
Meanwhile in another order, Showkat Ahmad Dar Jr. Assistant, ZEO Kunzar Baramulla has been sent a pre-termination notice for remaining un-authorizedly absent from your legitimate duties w.e.f. 18-07-2017.
