Dream of khichdi sarkar crashed

It was unbelieving and a big surprise that in a dramatic way Davinder Fadnavis of BJP and Ajit Pawar of NCP took oath as chief minister and Deputy chief minister respectively in a brief and simple function in Rashtrapati Bhawan. It dashed all hopes of the Shiv Sena and congress and NCP of forming a tripartite coalition government. It in fact can be said as the surgical strike on Sonia Gandhi and Uddhav Thackeray. The dramatic swearing-in ceremony of BJP and a faction of NCP alliance with the oath-taking of the CM Devinder Fadnavis and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar of the NCP brought gloom on the face of SS supremo  Uddhav Thackeray, Sonia Gandhi as well as Sharad Pawar. In the wildest dreams they have not imagined the BJP and a faction of NCP together forming a coalition government in a late midnight coup. But then in politics, anything can happen. However, all eyes were set on the positive outcome of the talks between the SS, NCP  and congress and the consensus had already reached on the name of Uddhav Thackeray as the CM and he had also agreed to become CM after initial hiccup and they were to stake claim of coalition government formation. But to their utter disgust and surprise theBJP and NCP alliance was given oath when in early morning CM and DY.CM were administered oath in a simple function at 7.45am while the governor had at 5.57 am recommended to president the lifting of the presidents rule .To surprise of all this dramatic turn of events took place within no time and it astonished one and all. The events took a u-turn and gave a serious blow to the dreams of SS supremo who was forced to lick the dust . One one side he lost the cabinet berth in the Modi government and on the other side he compromised his principles and ideology at the altar of power politics. This reminds one of a couplet of an Urdu poet which reads as Na khuda He Mila Na Visaly Sanam NA Ider KEY Rahay Na Udher Key Rahay. The plan of the Kachdi Sarkar was crashed to the ground before its launch and it is no less than a shock for the SS , congress and Sharad Pawar faction of the NCP. Equally, it was a rude shock to Sanjay Rawat of SS who was the bridge of meaning and the potential architect of the so-called tripartite alliance of SS, congress and NCP. But this balloon burst before its launch. The tripartite alliance of SS , Congress and NCP would have been very fragile and unstable had it taken practical shape. This experiment would have been a big loss for the people of Maharashtra. Moreover, this alliance was an alliance of opposite forces whose ideology was at variance and thus it could not have given a stable government. Comparatively the coalition of BJP a faction of NCP will give a strong and stable government though this alliance is also an alliance of ideologically different partners. Maharashtra politics took a u-turn and with this, the suspense and political uncertainty came to an abrupt end. There was political uncertainty from 24th of October and it means that for about a month no party or group of parties was in a position to stake claim to form a coalition. Now with the coming together of the BJP and NCP the people of the state heaved a sigh of relief as the state was saved from the president’s rule and a popular government came to power which can attend to the woes of the farmers. One one side parlays were going on between the leaders of SS, NCP and congress and on the other and important side secret talks were on between BJP and a faction of the NCP with Ajit Pawar at the helm and this has fructified in the very early morning of 23rd of November and it took all by surprise. It follows that in the field of politics there are strange bad fellows. Now that the CM and DY.CM have taken oath and it is to be seen how will they pass the floor test when NCP chief Shard Pawar has said the alliance of BJP and a faction of NCP don’t have the magic number to form a coalition government and they will fail in the floor test. But then Modi as the strategist and Amit Shah as the Chanakya of the politics will enable BJP and NCP to pass the floor test. All that one can say at the moment is that an accidental change has taken place and took ever body by surprise. This write up can best be concluded with a Hindi couplet which reads as Na Maya Mili Na Ram as for as the Shiv Sena is concerned.
