Dr. Bilal distributes Emergency Response Kits among Aapda Mitra volunteers

KULGAM: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, who is also chairman of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Thursday, distributed Emergency Response Kits among Aapda Mitra volunteers of the district.

These volunteers have completed 12 days Disaster Management training at SDRF Ist Battalion Srinagar and today the Deputy Commissioner distributed Emergency Response Kits among these Aapda Mitra volunteers at the mini-secretariat, here.

DC on the occasion also outlined the scope and mandate of the trained volunteers who shall be in readiness to tackle and rescue the people during any natural disaster.
