Domestic flight operations steadily moving towards pre-covid figures: Hardeep Singh Puri

The graded resumption of domestic flight operations in the country has completed 6 months with the footfalls at the Airports almost reaching at par with the pre-covid era. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has informed that with a total footfall of nearly four lakh 77 thousand yesterday the domestic flight operations are steadily moving towards the pre-covid figures. Mr. Puri stated that with nearly three thousand 808 domestic flight movements yesterday, more than two lakh 38 thousand people boarded flights and reached their destinations safely.

The phase wise resumption of domestic flights in the country began on 25th of May after the services were halted for more than a month due to the COVID pandemic.
