UDHAMPUR: District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur today organised a campaign on the topic “Victims of Drug Abuse & Eradication of drug Menace (NALSA Scheme 2015)” here at Bharm Rishi Bhavra Shanti Vidya Peet Higher Secondary School.
The programme was held in connection with the Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, under the guidance of District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur Chairman and overall supervision of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Rajni Sharma (Sub-Judge).
The program was attended by Panel Lawyer, Advocate Nikhileshwar Singh (Panel Lawyer); Advocate, Mallikarjun Singh Slathia and Advocate Aakash Sanmotra (Panel Lawyer), Students & Staff of Bharm Rishi Bhavra Shanti Vidya Peet Higher Secondary School Udhampur.
The Panel Lawyers acted as resource persons of the programme and made the participants aware about the drug abuse and highlighted the issues related to victim of Drug abuse.
The Resource persons, while thanking the Staff present and all the participants, highlighted the importance of creating awareness about the Drug abuse. PLVs Rachna Sharma, Sham Lal and Avtar Singh were also present in the programme.
Similar Programmes were organized by TLSC, Ramnagar, TLSC Chenani and TLSC Majalta.
