DDC Pulwama inaugurates deworming campaign


PULWAMA, NOVEMBER 25: District Development Commissioner Dr Raghav Langer today inaugurated deworming campaign at Markazi Falai -i- Atfaal Patal Bagh Pulwama.

DDC who was Chief Guest on the occasion said that the objective of the campaign is to free children from worm infections. He further said that deworming helps to cure Anaemia, mental impairment, mal-nourishment caused by worm infection.

He directed health officials to create mass awareness about the low cost and effective STH treatment.

The programme was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, Chief Medical officer, District Health Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, Block Medical Officer, Anganwadi workers and other employees of concerned departments.
