DDC Kishtwar reviews progress of languishing projects


Directs executing agencies to expedite the pace of work for timely completion

KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 28: District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana today convened a meeting of executing agencies to review the progress of work on languishing projects.

ADC Kishtwar, Pawan Kumar Parihar, Executive Engineers of concerned department, besides contractors and other concerned were present in the meeting.

While reviewing the projects, the DDC expressed anguish over the slow pace of work on languishing projects and strictly instructed all the contractors to ensure the completion of all works within the set timelines.

He further directed executing agencies to keep close coordination with contractors and mobilise men and machinery. He also directed them to conduct visits at work site on daily basis for proper monitoring of the work. The contractors also put forth their genuine demands and grievances before the DDC wherein he assured that their genuine grievances would be redressed on top priority.
