Hajin records 49.17% polling till 1 pm

Srinagar: Hajin (A) DDC constituency recorded a polling percentage of 49.17 till 1 pm, a total of 8022 votes were pulled, officials said on Monday.

Re-polling in two District Development Council (DDC) seats in Kupwara and Bandipora districts is being held today.
Among the total electorate of 15,351, in Hajin A, 4351 men casted their votes and a total of 3671 women voted till 1pm.

The State Election Commission (SEC) had earlier declared the polls of the District Development Council (DDC) seats as “null and void” after two women from PoK contested the elections.

The DDC constituency of Hajin-A has a total electorate of 15,351 and Drugmulla 32,845.
