BANDIPORA: A 105-year-old woman on Monday cast her vote at a polling station in the Hakbara area of Hajin-A constituency in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The 105-year-old Azee Begum of Hakbara village said that she cast her vote for the benefit of her locality, which was being ignored by the authorities in terms of development.

She also said she has been a regular voter and didn’t want to miss her chance even today with the hope to see her village develop.

Meanwhile, the Hajin-A constituency polled 21.38 per cent votes till 10 am. The polling began at 7 am and will end at 2 pm—(KNO)
