New Delhi: A gang of dacoits on Thursday successfully carried out a daring train robbery in the national capital, looting passengers at gunpoint. The train was Delhi bound after departing from Jammu and was stopped in tracks around outer Delhi for close to two hours.
The dacoits looted passengers in the B3 and B7 coaches of Jammu-Delhi Duranto Express. The daring crime shifts the focus on security arrangements of the Indian Railways. According to ANI, the Northern Railways CPRO said that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) was able to secure some initial leads in the case, promising swift action.`
