Cyber police unearths fake call centre scam in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 13: The Cyber Police, Kashmir, on Wednesday claimed to have busted a fake call centre scam and arrested all accused persons in the valley.

According to a police spokesman, after an FIR was registered, Cyber police conducted multiple raids in Srinagar and arrested accused who were running fake call centres.

Taking to micro blogging site Twitter, spokesman on official account of Kashmir Zone Police (KZP) said

“Cyber Police Kashmir@Cyberpolicekmr decoded the menace of Fake Call Centres #Scam. FIR registered, multiple raids conducted in #Srinagar and accused persons arrested”.
