Curfew imposed in Amravati in Vidarbha region due to spike in COVID-19 cases

In Maharashtra, curfew has been imposed in the municipal limits of Amravati in Vidarbha region, in the wake of a spike in Covid cases.

Meanwhile a marginal drop in Covid-19 cases was witnessed in the state yesterday. According to the data released by the state health department, a total of 5,210 new cases of novel coronavirus were recorded in the last 24 hours. Similarly, with a dip in cases, Mumbai reported 760 fresh cases.
