JAMMU: In a heart-warming incident, a senior CRPF lady officer saved the life of a civilian who had met with an accident in Jammu, on new year’s eve.
Anshuman Khajuriya, a resident of Talab Tillo in Jammu met with an accident on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway near Kunjwani. He lay in unconscious condition on the moving highway, but none of the passing vehicles bothered to stop and help him.
Senior CRPF officer, Kamal Sisodiya proved to be an angel for Anshuman, however.
On her way to attend her duty, Kamal was passing by when she saw Anshuman lying on the road unconscious. She immediately stopped her vehicle, provided Anshuman the first aid, lifted him and evacuated him to nearest Hospital.
Kamal also informed his family members and ensured timely treatment of the injured.
“Because of her efforts, I could survive. She was my saviour and this is a real example of true humanity,” said Anshuman, expressing his heartiest gratitude to CRPF and urged everyone to help others, so that precious human life can be saved as done by Ms Sisodiya.
“CRPF, the peace keeper of the nation, is not only protecting the citizens from terrorists and security threats but also saving precious human lives through social work and in this great cause, not only the men but also the women of CRPF are making this nation and it’s people proud of their humanitarian act,” said a CRPF spokesman.
