Jammu: The active caseload in Jammu and Kashmir has breached 6000 mark after 808 new cases reported across the Union Territory while 4 fresh fatalities pushed the death toll to 2023.
The official told The Dispatch that the active caseload reaches to 6115. “Among total active cases in J&K 1909 from Jammu region while 4206 from Kashmir region,” he added. He further said that death toll reached 2023 with four fresh fatalities within last 24 hours due to deadly infection.
He further informed the total tally reached to 136470 with 808 new cases.
“Among 808 fresh cases, 525 reported from Kashmir region while 283 from Jammu region,” he said.
He informed that in Kashmir region, district Srinagar reported 299 cases which is highest in the region while lowest 7 cases reported from district Ganderbal..
Similarly, he said that in Jammu region highest cases 164 were reported from Jammu region while district Ramban has not reported any cases.
