Washington, Nov 1: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has gone past the 46 million mark, according to the latest data provided by Johns Hopkins University.
The precise tally stood at 46,110,801 as on early Sunday, while the number of confirmed virus-related deaths reached 1,195,930, as per the university’s estimates.
Covid-19 was declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation(WHO) in March this year, the United States continues to be the worst affected nation both in terms of cases reported and deaths recorded.
