Srinagar, Nov 26: Jammu and Kashmir reported five more covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 1668, officials said on Thursday.
Among the fatalities, three were reported from Kashmir and two from the Jammu region.
The victims include a 55-year-old woman from Noorbagh Baramulla besides two persons from Srinagar—a 63-year-old man from Gojwara and a 90-year-old man from Chanapora.
Regarding deaths from Jammu division, they said, one of them was a 40-year-old woman from Bakool and a 72-year-old from Karan Nagar Jammu.
With these deaths, the total fatality count in the Valley has reached 1094 and 574 in the Jammu region.
Srinagar district with 415 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (294), Baramulla (161), Budgam (99), Pulwama (86), Kupwara (82), Anantnag (77), Doda (53), Bandipora (50), Kulgam (50), Rajouri (49), Udhampur (46), Ganderbal (37), Shopian (37), Kathua (36), Samba (29), Poonch (22), Ramban (18), Kishtwar(16), and Reasi (9).
