The Health Ministry said, in the last 24 hours over 3 lakh 44 thousand people have recovered from Covid-19 infection. The recovery rate is now at 83.50 per cent. Till now, over 2 crore 79 thousand people have recovered. More than 17 crore 92 lakh 98 thousand vaccine doses has been administered to beneficiaries till now in the country.
The country has reported over 3 lakh 43 thousand new COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the total cases to over 2 crore 40 lakh. Four thousand deaths were reported in the last 24 hours and the death toll due to Coronavirus pandemic has reached 2 lakh 62 thousand 317.
There are over 37 lakh active cases in the country. Indian Council of Medical Research ICMR said, more than 31 crore 13 lakh samples have been tested in the country up till yesterday. It said, over 18 lakh 75 thousand samples were tested yesterday.
