BARAMULLA: The rented Congress party office was sealed in Baramulla was sealed by Municipal Committee Baramulla for non-payment of rent.

Reports said that the Municipal Council (MC) Baramulla President Tauseef Raina along with officials sealed the office Wednesday morning.

MC President Touseef Raina said that an outstanding of 9 Lac is pending with the Congress party district office bearer.

“Around three thousand six hundred rupees is the yearly rent of the office and the Congress office owes the municipal office 9 Lac rupees. We have informed them time and again, but they are not paying the outstanding amount, so we sealed it today, ” Raina added.

He said that if the Congress office-bearers will not clear the outstanding amount, then MC will rent it out to some NGO or some other agents who can generate employment. (Agencies)
