SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Constitution government has constituted a committee (s) for implementation of Kissan Sampark Abhiyan.
Sanction is hereby accorded to conqtitution of Di%trict I-cvcl Monitoring Committees, comprising the following, for successful implementation of “KISSAN SAMPARK ABHIYAN” in the Union territory or Jammu and Kashmir, reads the order.
The committee members will have Additional District Development Commissioner Chairman. District Information Officer Member. All Chief/District Officers of Agriculture Production Department Member(s). District Nodal Officer (to be nominated by A riculture Production De artment . Member Secretary. Any Officer/Official/Expert with domain knowledge/relevance to be co-opted by the Committee. Terms of Reference(s) will be to ensure organization of Orientation Programme for farmers at the specified venues and on the dates earmarked for the same. To ensure availability of all logistics at the venue of Farmers Orientation (W/Projector, Sitting arrangement, refreshment etc) for the organization of Programme. To ensure pooling of resources, logistics and judicious expenditures should be incurred as far as possible and to ensure reflecting the Farmers Orientation Programme under AKAM (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav). Also to ensure prior publicity about the Programme enabling maximum participation of farmers.
