New Delhi, Feb 27: Commercial flight operations at all North India airports, which have been shut down due to security measures on Wednesday, were allowed and a notice to airmen (NOTAM) was withdrawn by the authorities.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation confirmed here that flights at all airports – Kullu, Kangra, Shimla, Leh, Jammu, Srinagar, Pathankot and Amritsar – were resumed to normal.
“As of now, operations to these airports have resumed,” the DGCA said.
According to sources, Pakistan  has also stopped flights from Islamabad and Lahore.
Earlier in the day, the authorities have sounded a high alert and closed all civilian operations amid a high tension between India and Pakistan.
