Felicitates Divisional, District level competition winners

KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey today presented cheques among the winners of District Level Talent Hunt Competitions held by JK Academy of Art, Language and Culture in collaboration with Department of School Education, the other day.

Pertinently, the competitions in Singing, Painting and Dancing disciplines were held for primary classes at GHSS Hiranagar in October 2022.

In the Painting competition, Pardeep Fakolu, Aavya Koushal & Karan Rajwal, were the winners. In the dancing Competition Akshara Bhagat, Aradeek Rajput and Sharvill secured positions and in the Singing competition Aishvi Singh. Virajay Singh and Anjumala were the winners.

The DC gave away cheques to the winners who secured first, second and third positions amounting  to Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 1000 respectively.

The DC also handed over Rs 20,000 cheque to the Aishvi who represented Kathua district at Divisional Level Painting Competition and secured first position.

Appreciating the young students, the DC said the co-curricular activities play great role in the overall development of the child. He extended best wishes to the winners for their bright future.

CEO Kathua P.L Thapa, DICC, Monika Khosla, ZICCs, parents and staff of School Education Department were also present.
