CM inaugurates first phase of Jahangir Chowk-Rambagh flyover

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Friday inaugurated the first phase of the Jahangir Chowk-Rambagh flyover between Amar Singh College and Barzulla crossing.

Of the 3.92-km-long flyover, the longest in the Valley, the phase-I 1.56-km stretch has been completed.

Mehbooba was accompanied by scores of Ministers and officers including Minister for Finance, Syed Altaf Bukhari, Works Minister Naeem Akhter Divisional Commissioner, Baseer Ahmad Khan and others.

Naeem after the inauguration said that the first phase has been completed while the work on second phase is going on.

He said that the completion of the phase would bring respite to the people especially commuters.

He said that the second phase will also be completed soon.
