SRINAGAR: The authorities have suspended the passport of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-E-Sharia Shian president Aga Syed Hassan Mosvi, citing “security threat” as the reason.

The Regional Passport Office Srinagar had intimated to Aga Hassan that his passport had been suspended under section 10(3XC) of the Passports Act 1967.

Aga Hassan that he received the notice after over a month when it was issued that his passport had been suspended. He said that he had applied for a fresh passport in view of a scheduled visit to some foreign country; however, today, he got to know through the notice that his passport has been suspended.
