Centre provides more than 20 crore vaccine doses to States, UTs free of Cost so far: Health Ministry

Union Health Ministry today said that more than 20 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories free of Cost by the Central Government, so far.

It said, Centre has been supporting the nationwide vaccination drive by providing COVID Vaccines to the States and UTs, in addition to several efforts to ramp up its production and supply.

More than one crore 84 lakh COVID Vaccine doses are still available with the States and UTs to be administered.

The Ministry said, nearly 51 lakh vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by the States and UTs within the next three days.
