CBSE activates Young Warrior movement to engage five million young people to lead action against COVID-19

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with and Sports and Health Ministries as well as YuWaah-UNICEF are activating the nationwide Young Warrior movement to engage five million young people to lead action against COVID-19 and impact 50 million people.

In a letter to the Heads of all affiliated Institutions, CBSE has asked to encourage students and teachers between the ages 10 and 30 years to join this movement and safeguard themselves, their families, their communities and the country.

This engagement will comprise a series of easy and real-life tasks with the Young Warrior earning certificate for their actions.

These actions include promoting access to verified health and essential services, vaccine registration, COVID Appropriate Behaviour, myth-busting and others.

These tasks will be hosted in ten regional languages.
