CBI raids senior IAS officer Navin Chowdhary

Jammu: The Central Bureau of Investigation today raided the official residence of senior IAS officer Navin Kumar Chowdhary.
Chowdhary is currently Principal Secretary to Government of Jammu and Kashmir in the Departments of Agriculture Development Farmers Welfare. The raids are reported to be in connection with allotments in Chenab Valley Power Development Corporation.
This may be recalled that when the State Subject, a special feature of Jammu and Kashmir was abolished, Chowdhary was among first few ‘outsiders’ to obtain a domicile certificate for Jammu and Kashmir. He is originally from Bihar.

The CBI has also raided some former officers of Chenab Valley PDC and a construction company, sources said.
