Business leaders appeals for protection of Kashmiri students, businessmen

In the aftermath of Pulwama terror attack of February 14 in which more than 40 CRPF officials lost their lives, there are reports of large scale attacks on Kashmiri students and businessmen in different parts of country. The Home Ministry has issued advisory to the state governments to ensure their safety while Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed Liaison Officers in different state capitals for coordination.

Members of business organisations and civil society in Srinagar have called upon ‘responsible people of India’ to ensure safety and security of Kashmiri students and workers in different parts of country.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, Haji Yaseen Khan, the President of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation has issued an appeal for protection of Kashmiri students and businessmen.
