Bus ferrying marriage party collides with mini bus, woman killed, 20 injured in Jammu outskirts

Jammu, Nov 10: A woman was killed and 20 others were injured when a bus ferrying members of a marriage party collided with mini bus in Bishnah area here on city outskirts.

Police said that late on Monday night a bus carrying members of a marriage party on way from Jakh to Nandpur, collided with a mini bus when reached near village Majua Uttami, Bishnah.

“The driver lost control on the speed and it met with an accident,” police said.

They said one one woman identified as Trapita Devi,40, wife of Mohan Lal of Jinder Khurd, Bishnah died on the spot and 20 persons suffered injuries.

The injured persons were hospitalised while the police have taken the cognizance.
