SRINAGAR: Body of a man with bullet marks was found in Shopian district on Monday morning, officials said here.

An official told that the body was spotted by some passersby, following which they informed the police. He said that soon after getting the information, a team of police reached the spot and recovered a body. He said that body has bullet marks and he has been identified as Manzoor Ahmad Nangroo of Rajpora village of Pulwama district.

Meanwhile, Kashmir Zone Police in a tweet said, “Dead body of Manzoor Ahmad Nangroo S/O Gh Mohd Nangroo
R/0 Hanjan, Rajpura #Pulwama, Age 30 years, found in an orchard in #Shopian in suspicious condition with bullet injury. #Investigation has started. Further details shall follow”.
