BUDGAM: A 19-year-old youth was injured on Saturday evening after being stabbed with a ‘sharp edge weapon’ in Chadoora village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Sources told that one youth identified as Momin Ahmad Bhat (19) son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Drygam was stabbed by an unknown person at Kaneera Chadoora Park.

In this incident, Bhat was immediately taken to CHC Kremshoora in injured conditions, where he was referred to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated further investigations. (KDC)
