Budgam Gunfight: Two Militants Killed, Three Armymen Injured

Srinagar: Two militants were killed and three arymen injured after a gunfight broke out between militants and goverment forces in Chatergam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on early this morning.

Reports said that two militants and three Armymen were injured after a joint team of army’s 50RR, CRPF and SOG cordoned off Chatergam.

A senior Police official confirmed to GNS that two militants were killed and three armymen injured after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area.
However officer said that the identity of the slain militants are yet to be ascertained.
