Boy goes missing in south Kashmir, family appeals for his return


Srinagar, Aug 8: Family members of the boy that went missing on Friday appealed him to return home in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, official sources said.

They said a boy identified as Shakir ul Jabar had left his home at Kadalabal, Awantipora, in Pulwama on Friday. However, he did not return home and a massive searches were conducted to trace him.

On Saturday, an appeal by family members, including mother, requesting him to return back went viral on the social media.

Without naming any one, Jabar’s mother said “Please return me my son back. I beg you. I was out to visit my daughter who was quarantined after testing positive for Coronavirus. After I came back, I didn’t find him here. His phone is also switched off”.

She further said that she was a diabetic and suffering from other ailments also. Please return back as what will happen to our family if I suffer heart attack.
