Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Bhartiya Janata Party welcomed the decision taken by Central Govt to reduce Central Duty on Petrol and desiel by 8 Rupees and 6 Rupees respectively which has resulted in net reduction of prices of Petrol by 9.5 Rupees and diesel by 7 Rupees .
In a press handout the party emphasized that the reduction in price of oil will control and reduce inflation and the prices of essential commodities will come down considerably as it will lead to reduction of carriage and production also
The Party Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi also welcomed the reduction of price of LPG cylinders by 200 Rupees to Ujjwala Beneficiaries upto 12 cylinders in a year . It will help in reducing cost of living to marginalized segments of society which will be big solace to them . Even at a time when Economy of whole world is under tremendous pressure which of global slow down , Covid 19 impact and Russia Ukarine war , the fact that Indian Govt can take such huge beneficial decision for its public us indicative of health of Indian Economy and its sustainability.
He hoped that benefits of the decision will pass on to the consumers and will create confidence in the market forces . It will also hugely help transport sector , farmers , poor and industrial and business sector . It has defeated the negative campaign launched by vested elements who had been trying to create doubts on Economical Health of India to create atmosphere of doubts and fear in the Country and outside.
