Bharatiya Janata Party will hold a nation-wide dharna today against the widespread violence unleashed by Trinamool Congress workers after the assembly elections results in West Bengal. BJP said all covid protocols will be followed during the protest which will be organised across all organisational mandals of the party. Several BJP workers and supporters were killed and injured in the post-poll violence.
BJP President, JP Nadda is on a two-day visit to West Bengal to meet the affected party workers. Mr. Nadda visited homes of killed party workers and met their family members. Talking to media persons, he said that the entire party will stand by the affected party workers and fight this violence democratically. Mr. Nadda said such incidents took place during the partition. He said such intolerance is unheard in independent India.
