Bihar CM Nitish Kumar urges people of state to remain cautious for rising COVID cases

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has urged the people of the state to remain cautious in view of surge of Covid -19 cases in some parts of the states. Mr Kumar also asked people not to gather in large numbers to celebrate Holi and maintain the social distancing norms. The Chief Minister said we will be able to check the spread of the disease if Holi is not celebrated in large gatherings or at public places.
 
Meanwhile, two lakh 61 thousand 537 patients have recovered from the COVID-19 infection in state so far. COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 99.20 per cent in Bihar. Currently, only 537 patients are receiving treatment at various hospitals. Only 90 fresh cases were reported during 24 hours. No positive case was reported from 15districts of the state.
