Bharadwaj nominated to Board of J&K Bank

SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has nominated Additional Chief Secretary Vivek Bharadwaj to the Board of Jammu and Kashmir Bank.

An order issued by the General Administration Department said, “Vivek Bhardwaj, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Finance Department is hereby nominated as Director on the Board of Directors of J&K Bank Limited in place of Mr. Atal Dulloo, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary).”

An officer of the West Bengal cadre of IAS, Bharadwaj joined deputation in Jammu and Kashmir in August 2021. Before joining Jammu and Kashmir, he was on the Central deputation with Ministry of Home Affairs.

As ACS Health and Medical Education, until recently, Bharadwaj brought critical sectoral reforms and made the Covid vaccination drive highly successful.
