BCA graduate from Chattabal arrested for jeopardizing life of medical shop owner: SSP Sgr

Says police have tools, technology to trace every anonymous social media users

SRINAGAR:Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar, Sandeep Choudhary on Friday said that a local resident from Chattabal area has been arrested for his fake Facebook post, which had jeopardized the life of a local medical shop owner.

According to the news agency SSP Srinagar during a breif press conference said that a BCA graduate identified as Sami-ul-llah Chalaroo from Chattabal had posted some fake news about at Medical shop owner on Facebook.

He said that there were no facts in the news posted by the netizen, and after proper verifications and investigation the youth was arrested. The SSP also said that people should refarin from such activities as the police have tools and technology to trace all the anonymous social media users and any such activity will not be tolerated—(KNO)
