B2V4: Govt making persistent efforts to ensure basic necessities available at doorsteps says Vikas

RAJOURI: As a part of Back to Village Phase-IV, District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, on the second day of the program, conducted a tour of different panchayats of the district.

The DDC visited Mubarak Pura and Bathian Panchayats where he took stock of the activities being carried out as a part of B2V4.

While interacting with the deputed officers and the PRIs, the DDC said that the Back to Village program aims to energise panchayats, collect feedback on the delivery of Govt schemes/programmes and  capture specific economic potential.

The DDC also said that the program involves the people of the district and Govt officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development across the rural areas, besides mobilizing public opinion on different issues at different levels.

He also said that the UT Govt was making persistent efforts to make all the basic necessities available at the doorsteps of the common masses.

Highlighting various schemes and programs launched by the Govt for the public, he urged upon visiting officers, the PRIs and field functionaries of different departments to educate and motivate the public to avail the benefits of the same.

Officers who accompanied the DDC included ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; Tehsildar Thanamandi during his visit.
