B2V4: DC Ramban Mussarat asks officers to work with sincerity and dedication

RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting of officers to discuss the modalities for smooth conduct of the “Back to Village” (B2V) programme Phase-IV, commencing from 28th October in the district.

Among others, the meeting was attended by CPO, Dr Kasturilal; GM DIC, Ravinder Anand; Dy. DEO, Lal Chand; ACD, Ashok Singh; CMO, CEO, CHO, CAHO, CAO, DSHO,  DFOs, Executive Engineers and various other senior officers of line departments attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that under the programme, every Panchayat shall be assessed by Gazetted Officers and each officer shall spend two days and one night in the allotted Panchayat.

The DC briefed the officers about the objective and salient features of the B2V4 and asked them to strictly adhere to the prescribed guidelines of the programme. Besides, he enlightened the officers about the key deliverables of their respective departments.

The DC stressed upon the officers to work with sincerity and dedication to make the “Back to Village programme” a grand success. He asked them to focus on issues of public importance.

The DC directed the officers to depute frontline workers in Panchayats to record the aspirations of people and finalization of plans in the Gram Sabhas with the involvement of PRIs and locals.

The DC further exhorted the RDD functionaries to coordinate and synchronize the activities of different line departments for a greater impact on the ground level.
