The state government on Wednesday said that they have full faith on Crime Branch’s (CB) investigations over the Kathua minor girl, Asifa’s rape and murder case, saying that the call given for Jammu Bandh today has no logic.
Vice presidents of state congress and MLA Kishtwar G M Saroori and MLA Sopore, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar told that they believe that the investigation done by Crime Branch (CB) will have no loopholes. “We have full faith on the CB investigations,” they said.
They said that the culprits involved in the heinous crime should be death with strictly so that no one would dare in near future to do such kinds of acts. “The rape and murder of a nomad girl is unfortunate. It is a humanitarian issue and culprits belonging to any religion should not be spared,” they added.
Meanwhile, the two leaders also condemned the civilian killings in Kulgam district today.
They expressed grief over the civilian killings and termed these killings as unfortunate.
The congress leaders also expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
