New Delhi, Nov 10: Republic’s Editor-in-Chief and senior journalist Arnab Goswami on Monday moved the Supreme Court against the order of the Bombay High Court, which had denied him interim bail in an abetment to suicide case.
While his regular bail is still to be taken up by the Sessions court in Maharashtra, in connection with the 2018 case, the renowned journalist had approached the top court of the country.
The petition is likely to be taken up for hearing within a week or may be before that, a lawyer connected to the case claimed.
While refusing to grant him bail, The Bombay High Court had on Sunday asked Arnab to approach the Sessions Court for relief.
