Srinagar, Dec 20: Army on Thursday morning recovered an improvised explosive device (IED) at Shumnag area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district .
Reports said that the IED was detected by the patrolling party of army’s 5 Bihar in Shumnag. The IED hid inside road was detected by the patrol at around 8:00 today.
A police officer confirmed the incident and said the bomb disposal squad was called in who later disposed off the explosive device without causing any damage.
