Agnipath Scheme:
The Union Cabinet recently approved an attractive recruitment scheme for Indian youth to serve in the Armed Forces for which a scheme has been introduced with the name Agnipath.

With the announcement of this scheme, a window of opportunities has been opened for the youth to serve their nation for a period of four years. On completion of the four years period, Agniveers will go back to the society as disciplined, dynamic, motivated and skilled work force for employment in the other sectors, thereby contributing further in nation building. Those who will be enrolled through the scheme will be called Agniveer.

Post this stint of four years, the Agniveers will be infused into the civil society where they can contribute immensely towards the nation building process.

The mock test was a noble undertaking by the Army Camp to motivate the youth of our district, further strengthening the bond between the Army and the people.
