Budgam, Apr 3: (GNS) Security forces claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition from the Shanipora Khan Sahab area in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

An official told that, on receipt of credible inputs about the concealment of a ‘bag’ beneath the bushes in the forest area at Shanipora Khan Sahab, a police team alongside Army’s 53 RR carried searches in the area.

“During searches incriminating material of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) including one each of Chinese Pistol (9MM), UGBL, four rounds of UGBL Rounds and as many Pistol Magazines besides three radio sets, a 9 Volt battery, three 7.62 rounds, ninety-eight .9 MM rounds and a bonnet cover were recovered”, the official maintained.

“An FIR number 44/2021 under relevant sections of law has been taken up and further investigations taken up”, the official added. (GNS)
