Budgam, Oct 31: The annual Urs of Syed Dawood Kirmani (RA) was on Saturday observed with religious fervor at Gudsathoo in Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. The day is being observed as the death anniversary of the saint.
According to the news agency, religious scholars and preachers while paying rich tributes to the saint, appealed to people to follow the teachings of the saint in letter and spirit. Special prayers were also held at the shrine.
On this occasion, a ceremony of ‘Durood wa Azkaar’ was also organized, religious scholars threw light on the life, religious services, teachings and spiritual strength of the saint who had devoted his life to the preaching of Islam—(KNO)
