Animal Birth Control Centre once completed will conduct 50- 60 sterilization surgeries a day: Mayor Junaid 

Mayor SMC visits Animal Birth Control Centre in Sringar.

SRINAGAR: Junaid Azim Mattoo, the Mayor of Srinagar today took a detailed review of the ongoing work on the Animal Birth Control Centre at Tengpora in Srinagar.

Srinagar Municipal Corporation is building an Animal Birth Control Centre in the area on modern lines which will be equipped with all the modern facilities.  Having a capacity of conducting 50- 60 sterilization surgeries in a day, the centre will also house an Anti Rabies Vaccination Centre, the Mayor said.

During the visit, the Mayor was informed that 80 percent work for the Sterilization cum Vaccination Centre has been completed and the remaining work is pursued on faster lines.

The mayor directed the concerned officials to expedite the remaining work and complete the project within stipulated time.

During the visit, the Mayor was accompanied by Joint Commissioner Works, JCS, MVO and other senior officials from SMC.
