SRINAGAR: Anantnag district became the first district in Kashmir division which has completed the 100 percent first dose vaccination of 18-44 age group while three districts in Jammu division have already achieved this feat.
As per the data, except Kupwara district, all districts in Kashmir division have completed first dose vaccination over 90 per cent people of 18-44 age group.
In Jammu division, Kishtwar is lagging behind where percentage of vaccinated people in the 18-44 age group is 79 percent while rest of the district have completed over 90 percent vaccination.
In Kashmir division, Anantnag has completed 100 percent first dose vaccination while second dose has been given so far to 40 percent people.
After Anantnag, in Shopian 98 percent people have received first dose while 41 percent have received second dose, in Budgam 97 percent people have received first dose while 45 percent have received second dose.
Similarly in Srinagar, 96 percent have received first dose while 39 percent have received second dose, in Kulgam 90 percent people have received first dose while 39 percent have received second dose.
In Bandipora 91 percent have received the first dose while 39 percent have received the second dose while in Baramulla, 91 percent have received the first dose and 46 percent have received the second dose.
In Kupwara, 83 percent have received first dose and 37 percent have received second dose, in Pulwama 91 percent have received first dose and 38 percent have received second dose while as in Ganderbal 94 percent have received first dose and 50 percent have received second dose.
In aggregate, 95 percent people have received first dose vaccination while 42 percent have received second dose in the whole J&K—(KNO)
