Bhartiya Janata Party BJP National president Amit Shah reached Agra this morning to address the leaders of the party organisation and social media warriors of the party. Concluding his two days visit to Uttar Pradesh he will also address a meeting of intellectuals at the evening in the Taj City. He is accompanied by party’s State Unit President Dr Mahendra Nath pandey and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
AIR correspondent reports that a closed door meeting of party leaders is being addressed at Agra by Mr Shah. Several grassroots workers from different regions and senior party leaders including UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath State Unit Party president Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, Union and UP government ministers are present in the meeting. 23-point programme of the party high command finalised for 2019 poll preparations is high on agenda in the meeting.
Mr Shah addressed a closed door meeting of Party leaders last evening at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Trade Facilitation Centre auditorium at Varanasi and asked them to be prepared for next Lok Sabha Polls. He called upon the organisational leaders to popularise the welfare schemes and programs initiated by the Modi government. He said there is no threat to the party from any alliance of the parties and attempts should be made to increase vote share of the party in the coming election in the comparison of last general polls.
